We made it to Friday! And while it was actually a Thursday, if we roll back the clock to August 19, 2004, it was definitely a good day for internet search giant Google (now known as Alphabet) as it had its in. Snap! DDoS attack, Safari JWST's JavaScript, space-based solar power, One D&D Spiceworks Originals.Unfortunately the user isn't usually on site so I didn't get much time to investigate further. I had also tried to see if you could 'double hop' to dropbox via ibooks, however it seems ibooks is a bit useless for that sort of thing. I wondered if it's possible to work around the problem by getting downloaded pdfs to open in acrobat instead of safari. If he sends to ibooks then the file always arrives OK. This is an intermittent problem, only some pdfs are effected. However the file that arrives in dropbox is just a mess of html - not the pdf. He then tries to send them from safari to dropbox using the share button. When he clicks on the web link to the file, the pdf opens directly in safari (so I assume it's downloading OK). He's receiving pdfs via a web based file sharing platform (liquidfiles) I have a user with a macbook pro who has a problem managing files.
